Tucson Traildust Town

We all had a good night in Tucson hitting Traildust Town for an "authentic" old west evening and dinner.

PJ Takes Tucson!

So the trip to Tucson has been a success so far. PJ loved the airport and all the interesting people and smells. We had a few little yips in the bag whilst on the floor of the plane, and we need to carry on a blanket on the return trip to combat the cold, but overall it was pretty easy-breezy. PJ saw her first rabbit on a walk and went INSANE! Very funny to see our mellow dog lunging and yowling to go after it. Luckily we kept hold of the leash. Back at the room, PJ loves the hotel beds.

New Moon DVD Release Party

So while the ladies partied it up with Edward and Jacob, Adrian and Jess had their own party at Gladstone's For Fish. Somehow Jessica ended up with two Shirley Temples and TWO plates of crab legs when the kitchen made an error. Good news for mom and we're having crab leftovers for dinner Sunday night.

First Draft Backyard Layout

Well, it's only been 12 years in the making, but rumor has it we are FINALLY redoing our back yard. Lots of flagstone and outdoor patio area, no more concrete, a big gazebo type wooden structure for a table area to provide some shade for our 10-months-a-year of sunshine. A gas fire pit for Adrian, some grass for PJ, a veggie garden spot for Jessica. Hoping they can start demo IMMEDIATELY. We made a few changes to the layout, but this is very close. Now I've got to find a really cool tile outdoor table, and a unique old-school door for the back garage.

Who's That Girl??

PJ is really living the life of Riley. Helping Jess play on the computer. Partying at the new dog park. Having a snooze on the couch. It's a good life.

We Love Disneyland Off-Season!

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirates Life for Me!! Take note of the times on the wait signs. Five Minutes Baby! We loved Disneyland last week. Cool temps, shorter than short lines, no crowds. We had a Churro, only because we know Donna loves them so much. Let's see: 6 Space Mountains, 5 Thunder Mountain Railroads, 2 Pirates, 1 Peter Pan, 1 Indiana Jones, 1 Star Tours, 1 Buzz Blasters. Check out Jess in the EMPTY hallway waiting for Space Mountain . . . it was FAB. Also loved the hand-washing instructions - sponsored by Sparkle Cleaner. Old Walt must be rolling in his grave.

All the Kids Hit the Slopes

I wasn't able to get as many shots as I'd hoped, but I think I have at least one of all the kids.

Jessica Tubing

The kids all had a great time at our usual tubing spot. We arrived early and beat the crowds. This was practically the only snow on the mountain. Jess wasn't keen on the snow pants this year - not flattering, but they kept her dry and toasty.

The Drive Home from Arrowhead

The drive back was likely the worst rain we've seen in years in Southern California. Not sure how many accidents we counted on the drive, but luckily we made it home safe and sound, with PJ snuggled in the back, napping the entire ride home.

Pushing the Envelope

Somehow P.J. has managed to worm her way onto Jessica's bed (thanks for those doggie stairs Jerri!) and is slowly migrating her way up to the top of the bed.

The First Official Walk

A red letter day for PJ and family. The third round of shots are done and PJ can officially get out and about for walks. She LOVES it already and did a great job with Jessica.

Bring in 2010!

Happy New Year and the Nash family spent that day at the beach. Seemed the best way to kick off the new year and hoping 2010 is better for one and all.
